Michelle was an exceedingly spoiled child. Her mother doted upon her little Belle,
as she called her (it later became the family nickname for Michelle), and her two older
brothers did the same, especially George.
Before George Russell enlisted in the Royal Navy, he and Belle were seen everywhere
together. The two were inseparable. Riding, reading, or playing, George was her role
model. He left for his new profession when he turned 19.
One day, while writing a letter to her dearest brother George, Belle heard the door ring.
She walked quickly down the stairs, for ladies never run, and snatched the letter that
had just arrived. She hoped it was from her brother. She opened it as quickly as possible,
though seconds later she wished she hadn't. It was only a few seconds until she broke
down, crying harder than she ever had before. Her dearest brother, George, was dead;
killed by pirates in the Caribbean, where he had been stationed.
Michelle went into a state of grief like none other for about a year after news of
George's death. She was quite transformed from her usual bubbly self, her maid stated.
She had sworn to loathe pirates for all eternity.
Now here's the plot twist: George Russell is still aliveBut here's the thing, he's
now a pirate. When his ship was attacked, he was one of the only survivors. He was
taken hostage on the ship, and slowly started taking up duties aboard. He realized,
after months on board, that this was really the life for him. No taking orders from
others, just himself out in the ocean with the spray of the sea on his face.
Now somehow, I'd love for Michelle to re-unite with her brother, not knowing it is
him at first. I think any type of plot between these two would be fabulous, so if anyone
wants to take him, I would be extremely grateful!
