[shadow=blue,left,300]JOHNNY MAHLJEE[/shadow] Upon a small, worn post on the pier, hardly worth noticing as you walk by, a piece of parchment flutters slightly in the breeze. It must once have been a neat, new, clean sheet at some point, but the sea breeze has worried and gnawed at it, so that it is sadly in some disarray. However, the writing upon it is still very much legible. It is penned in a precise, large hand, confident in script in a manner unusual to most folk in the town. The advertisement reads thus: SURGEON SEEKS SHIP TO SERVE Accomplished ship's surgeon seeks employment on travelling vessel.
Clean reputation sought, but not necessary.
Payment negotiable at a later date.
Equipped with own surgical implements and supplies.
To inquire, seek nearest in, ask for Dr. J. Mahljee.
As if as an afterthought for those possible employers who are less than literate, below the fine, simple writing, a small diagram has been penned. Two simple human figures are depicted. One is sawing off the mutilated leg of the other. A needle and thread hovers above the two. A thick black arrow has also been drawn, pointing to a picture of an inn (with a mug of rum beside it, for those who really are particularly dim-witted). Countless others have simply passed the advertisement by, out of lack of interest or lack of need. But perhaps, you will not. Perhaps you have need of such a man. Perhaps your fingers itch to take the page. Will you be the first to look further?

They should be friends. ;3 Bahaha seriously though... Tim is awaiting assignment on a navy ship currently. So, he's just sitting around town. Chance meeting, possibly? Tim's got a father who is missing, presumed dead, and he's nice to a fault; so, they should have something to talk about at least.
