Ember was not the only city the Builders made. To make sure humanity was saved, several cities were built for when the surface of Earth would no longer be inhabitable.
Over the years though each has developed its own little quirks. Not able to bear true genius being wasted by the lottery, the scientists of Sanctum built their own group beyond the system, made to manage the city from above the government, and sustain life until they could return to the surface once again.
Centuries after it's creation, supplies are running low, things and breaking that cannot be replaced, and the city is facing corruption from the very people supposed to keep it safe.
Can life continue in the city? Or will it and everyone in it succumb to eternal darkness.
