The farm is located just outside of a town called Bear Creek, Alabama out in the countryside. A large spread with several fields of grain, corn, hay, and other crops. The farm was named Country Lane and it was started many generations back. It started out as a small family dairy farm and with each generation the large property spread and so did the farm. More animals were brought to the farm, whether it was animals rescued or purebred, top dollar breeding animals. Bigger pastures and more crops were created to feed their growing stock and the big family all pitched in to help. Outside help was rarely needed to keep this huge farm going. After ten generations of dedicated farmers the farm grew to needing help. The generations started to get smaller and as new technology and better paying jobs arose the family help began to disappear. Only the close knit part of the family stuck to the life of farming and sweating over the land, revolving their lives around the elements and watching as the prices of their precious crops and stock went up and down like a roller coaster. It was a sad thing to see the family farm was beginning to die away. When the son of the eleventh generation passed away, the farm was left to his two grandkids a young teenage girl and a young man whom was in his early twenties. The two were siblings and with the passing of their grandfather, the siblings that had been separated by their different lifestyles came together. The sister was in the middle of college life, her goal to finish school and become a vet tech. The boy was a truck driver delivering freights all across the USA. The girl, Steph, dropped out of college to take on the ownership of the expensive and very large farm. Her brother, Kevin, took to taking a local truck driving job, making sure to help make money to pay for the farm. Together the two took on the huge responsibility. Although there's a problem. With Kevin always out hauling local supplies and local milk, Steph was left alone to do the many chores around the farm. The two were determined to not give up on the beautiful farm.
After a hard month of struggling to keep up the two sat down and had a discussion. No one else in the family would help them, all of them straying from the farming way of the family. Their only other option was to look for outside help. So the two came up with an advertisement to send out, welcoming anyone from anywhere in the USA, no matter the lifestyle to come and help them on the farm. They also added that it was a great way to teach young kids the value of hard work and working together along with the basic life lessons. They started doing other things to raise more money, like Steph teaching riding lessons to young children. Although with the new ways of raising money came more stuff the siblings had to get done So the siblings kept sending out the ads and desperately tried to receive help. The ad has now fallen in your lap. Will you help the desperate young siblings or simply toss it away in the trash and never have another thought of it?
